WILL SMITH MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
Will Smith was a coach and friend of North Langley Baseball for many years. He had a larger than life persona and was extremely competitive. He strived to win but placed great value not only players who possessed skill but on players who possessed heart.
North Langley began hosting a baseball tournament in 2013 for 8 year old players as a lasting tribute to Will Smith who passed away of pancreatic cancer on February 10th, 2013.This tournament is a celebration of all that Will embodied; competition sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play. He loved baseball and took every opportunity to play it, coach it, and watch it.
