If you are considering if your player should register for a Township Team, please feel free to reach out to Ray Clark (email@example.com) and he can help with any questions. Township teams are high skill and competition level. We want to ensure that a players safety and development is considered a priority when deciding which team will be best suited for their skills. Any existing Pee Wee AA (2007) players are welcome to join the Township program for the fall season. The season will focus on developing skills with our professional coaching staff as well as playing exhibition games with associations within our BC Minor approved cohort group.
Prices for North Langley Fall Ball is 110.00 per player which includes a shirt and hat to keep. Township Blue Sox baseball is 250.00 which includes training fees and exhibition umpire fees along with shirts and hats.
The Fall Ball season will run from the week of September 5th until mid October. There are no schedules set by the league. Any games that are arranged will be done through the team management. House Coaches are asked to hold a training twice per week in addition to any exhibition games. Township teams will have training scheduled minimum twice a week.
Any North Langley house exhibition games that require an umpire, will be the responsibility of the coach to arrange (through North Langley) and the team will pay the umpire costs (which is not included in the registration fees). Township team fee's will include umpire costs for two exhibition games.
All players will move into the age divisions for the 2021 season. Our current Pee Wee AA players (2007) will have the choice to remain in their current age group, or, move into the bantam Township program. Please be assured that the safety of our players will always be our priority.
Players will need all of their own equipment, including an athletic support.
COVID AND SPECTATORS:
There are strict COVID protection rules in place which are posted on this site and will be made available by the coaches. For more information on our Return to Play safety plan, please visit our COVID page.
At this time, the Township of Langley has not approved any spectators for any team sports. All sports leagues within Langley Township, that rent field space, are faced with the same restrictions. We will continue to respect the rules that have been set in place. Our players and communities health and safety must come first.
TOWNSHIP BLUE SOX
Township Blue Sox Baseball, which is Bantam and Midget aged players from North Langley and Aldergrove Minor, will have teams for the Fall season. The boards have recently announced that we are taking our program in an upward direction by including a program director and coach for the two age divisions. The coach/director will be named in preparation for our September 5th season start. The development of these teams should be consistent to ensure that as our players move up in age divisions, they will have consistency with coaching and skills development.
The Township Blue Sox Baseball program is high level baseball with affordable fee's to ensure that competitive programming is accessible to more players.
Brad Blatz will remain as the Head coach for our Bantam Township program. Our College Prep coach will be named soon.
The registration cost for the season is 250.00 which includes shirt, hat, training and two exhibition games.
If you have any questions about our Township Program, please email Brad Blatz, President of Aldergrove Baseball at firstname.lastname@example.org or Ray Clark, VP of Coach development at email@example.com

FALL BALL COACHING
If you are volunteering to be a Head or Assistant Coach for Fall Ball, please register in the age division that your child will be playing in 2021.
BC Minor has decided that each association will continue to have players be in their next years age division. For example, if your child was born in 2007, he or she will move to the Bantam age group. If your child was born in 2008, they will remain in Pee Wee.
